For about 3-5 months PODD Corp. has been busy revamping the new site. And with nothing but packs of Pancit Canton and endless tubs of coffee, we finally launched the new PODD Corp website yesterday. Whew! What a relief. And to mark the occasion my fellow PODDsters and I decided to throw a small party in its honor...cake, fun hats and all.
You can check out the new PODD Corp. site at www.poddcorp.com.
We've beefed up the site, SEOed it and added more features like:
But hey, this is just the beginning there's more in store so watch out for it here!

This new sotware could revolutionize the Internet. Zdnet calls the it as something of "a new permutation in Web search," with the idea being to compress around one million gigabytes into just 40 gigabytes.
The software christened "Webaroo" promises to put an end to tiresome Internet connections and allow consumers to browse and search Web pages and Web sites on their handhelds and laptops without the need for a connection. The new software is the brainchild of Rakesh Mathur, Beerud Sheth and Bradley Husick founders of Junglee, a company recently taken over by Amazon.
Webaroo servers are engineered to search the web, analyse web pages, select subsets of pages, and assemble pages into "Web packs" classified as per subject. Web packs can be downloaded onto handhelds or laptops and then accessed anywhere, anytime.
Webaroo has reportedly tied-up with Acer and plans to incorporate the Webaroo software into Acer's laptops.

Boyfriends the world over now have an answer to the universally-dreaded question of: “Do these jeans make me look fat?”
Here’s a new camera from HP that’ll help you answer that age-old and equally perplexing question from your girlfriend. Instead of risking life and limb, take her picture with the new HP 8.2MP Photosmart R927, one of several new digital cameras from HP that boasts a special “slimming feature.”
The change is pretty subtle and while it won’t change a ‘Roseanne’ into an ‘Angelina’, it does definitely make people look 10 pounds lighter. It slims the center of photos and slightly widens the outside to maintain perspective. It’s like the (fun-house) mirror from the fair, but not as exaggerated.
While there are many ways to slim (or fatten) a person’s physique in Photoshop and other image editing programs, HP is the first manufacturer to offer the effect built into the camera.
Finally, boyfriends of the world can now breathe a sigh of relief. Unfortunately, it doesn't have an answer to: "Am I pretty?"

Last month I wrote about click fraud on our company website but before that I had no idea of the severity of the problem and how click fraud affects search engines and site owners.
In cost-per-click advertising, marketers pay a search engine, like Google or Yahoo, when users click on links to the advertisers' websites. The cost-per-click can be as low as a cent or as high as $15 per click. Google and others also generate revenue by posting sponsored ad links on other syndicated websites and splitting the fees generated by click traffic.
This paid-search model is now the fastest-growing form of Internet advertising, according to the Interactive Advertising Bureau. However, click fraud remains a constant threat to both small and big online businesses.

For a long-time diehard fans of both styles have been at constant war with each other. And they say that digital art is not art... but it is. And in my opinion, anything borne from creativity is art.
Here's an artwork that is truly mind-blowing... A masterpiece that even traditional realist painters would surely applaud.
